RESEARCH
building a database of southeast asian artists’ materials and techniques
Everything we do is guided by our vision.
We strive to uncover what is beneath the surface, scrutinising every intricate detail of paintings and fortifying the value of our art, one data point at a time.
Exploring new frontiers
This commitment is a continuation of our founder’s PhD research, the most expansive conservation research on Singaporean pioneer artists to date. The comprehensive study of over 60 masterpieces by Cheong Soo Pieng and Georgette Chen brought us new discoveries on the material relationships within their artworks - unlocking new levels of knowledge on artist attribution.
Pioneering material research on Singaporean artists
There’s a bit of rocket science in uncovering the past. Thankfully, we’ve found a systematic and meticulous approach to collect data with speed and precision to build our knowledge bank.
The best part? We make technical examination of your paintings accessible so you get to learn more about your collection too.
